CHARITY CONNECTS or C2 was founded by a group of businessmen and women from different families and ethnicity who has real Enthusiasm in helping the less fortunate in South East Asia. As last stated and updates on C2 non-profit organization the official officers in charge to keep members updated and to promote Charity Voluntary works are us follows; Bienvenido Mendrez Sr.(Chairman) Simon del Castillo(Vice Chairman) Ma. Jacquie(Youth Ambassadress /Orphanage issues) Virgilio Mendrez (Spokesperson). C2 is a non-profit organization where pioneers of this organization donate goods, education, knowledge, time and activity programs.C2 Pioneers are open to all individuals who has enthusiasm, time, effort and initiative to get involved into charity voluntary works. In three years of connecting to the lives of the precious children in South East Asia., C2 encouraged hundreds of individuals in all ages to participate into their heart warming activities. Take note that the said organization NEVER ask any amount for membership fees and compulsory payments or contributions because C2 pioneers believe that it is not all about money but it is more about time, love, effort and enthusiasm.
Chairman of Charity Connects Bienvenido Mendrez Sr. and with his pioneers, encouraged almost 500 members in Southern part of the Philippines. “Being good is commendable, but only when it is combined with doing good is it useful. “ -Bienvenido Mendrez Sr. The pioneers of Charity Connects went to the southern part of the Philippines to extend their help and donations to the children who are obviously lacking educational assistance from the government.
Ma. Jacquie the Youth Ambassadress of C2 said that”Every children must know how to read and write and that’s why we are encouraging educators to help us with these charitable program. They may not be our or your biological sons and daughters but every child is a blessing and they are our future hopes into a very prosperous future.“
During their early days staying in the southern part of the Philippines, many young educators and politicians joined in the said program. Books, School Supplies, Clothes and Educational mediums are been given away by some generous civilians and the chairman Bienvenido Mendrez Sr. donated 250,000 pesos for the program to buy more books and educational materials. Almost 500 children have been blessed with new school materials and new knowledge about reading and writing according to the evaluation.
